Derek Hill, DO, is the Founder and President of AZ Solutions. He has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 2008 and specializes in hip and knee replacement surgeries. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is the President of Hill Orthopedics. He is well-versed in the treatment of surgical wounds. In his clinical practice, Dr. Hill is constantly evaluating surgical wound and infection management products. He has led all research efforts of the activated-zinc technology since its inception and will continue to direct research and development efforts in tandem with the AZ Solutions leadership team. He has also been instrumental in establishing key partnership discussions with players in the surgical and wound care arenas. He will be heavily involved in product development, including guiding the overall research direction of AZ Solutions, IP protection strategy, fundraising activities, and pursuing collaborative partnerships.
